The 'Original Nottingham Ghost Walk' was set up in 1993 and has been going strong ever since! We lead you around the older parts of the City near the Castle, where the street plan is almost 1000 years old, and tell you lots of ghost stories. Not just where ghosts haunt, but something of why they haunt and the different types of ghosts that exist. A bit of history, the odd gory execution, a graveyard (of course!). You may even encounter the real ghost who has been seen on several occasions during our tours!
STARTS: At The Salutation Inn, Maid Marion Way, Nottingham (this is easy to find - it is close to both Nottingham Castle and 'The Tales of Robin Hood' attraction, both of which are signposted on major routes into the City. There is a multi-storey car park about two minutes walk away or street parking all around, wherever you can find a space!).
TIME: 7.00pm every Saturday - All Year (except December - last date for 05 is Sat 3rd December 2005).
ENDS: in the haunted caves beneath The Salutation Inn!
DURATION: About 1 hr 15 mins (total distance walked - about ¾ mile)
COST: £4 adults - £2 children (under 12). Family ticket: 2 adults & 2 children - £10 total. (Broadly suitable for children of 8 or 9 yrs and above).
BOOKING: normally no need - just turn up on the night (but please see ‘Disclaimer’ on Home page). (Please arrive about 5 minutes early, we try to start prompt on time and we wouldn't like to miss you!). However, if you are bringing a group of 20 people or more, please phone us in advance to check availability.
SPECIAL BOOKING FOR GROUPS -
DISABLED ACCESS: most of the route is accessible for wheelchairs, except the caves for the last 10-15 minutes of the tour. There is a hill, though!

Ghost Walks
Halloween is usually our busiest night of the year!
Walks for the night of Halloween itself are normally by advance booking only. Depending on which day of the week Halloween falls, the two Saturdays either side of Halloween can also be very busy.
